I find where AI makes you money.
Most AI projects never pay for themselves. I find the one in your business that will — and take it from the numbers, to the roadmap, to the build, to your team actually using it. If the answer is buy it or bin it, I'll tell you that too. I don't hand you a plan and leave.

The difference
Then I stay until it does.
Someone sells you a plan, hands over a deck, and the hard part — making it real — lands on you. I work the other way around. I find the use case with real payback, put a number on it, and build it with the people who'll run it — because a system your team doesn't use pays back nothing. Usually live inside 30 days. If the right answer is buying off the shelf, I'll say so. Same if the right answer is doing nothing.

Thirty-five years, one throughline
I joined Microsoft in 1996. I co-founded Aware Group in 2016 — before most people thought AI was real — and exited to HSO in 2024. Along the way I built the original Microsoft 365 Copilot demos and helped bring Copilot to market. Today I'm fractional CTO & AI lead at companies like GGI and BoostMed, and I run AI ventures of my own. The throughline hasn't changed in thirty-five years: find where the technology makes a business money.
Then make it pay.

Fit
Who I work with
I work with founders and CEOs who own the P&L and want AI that pays for itself — not a transformation program. And I work with fractional executives and consultants who bring me into their client accounts as the AI counterpart on their bench.
I'm not the right fit if you want a strategy deck to hand your team, a tutorial on building it yourself, or a cheerleader for tools you've already bought.
